  • Stoke Mandeville Stadium Guttmann Centre, Aylesbury

Timings

​

  • Prompt start at 10:15am

  • Arrival 09:30 am

  • Teams registrations 09:45am

​

Tournament format

​

  • 2 groups of 6 teams total of 12 teams

  • Each team plays once

  • Top 2 teams from each group qualify for Champions Cup

  • Best 2 runners up will enter Shield Cup

  • Teams with equal points and GD for will be decided by penalties

  • In the event of equal points for group  head-to-head will be taken into consideration

  • Games will be played across 2 indoor pitches 

  • Each team must accurately complete a team list prior to the tournament

Competition Rules

​

  • 6-a-side with a maximum of 8 players per team (non-transferable)

  • 10 minute games straight through (no half times)

  • Quarter finals and Semi-Finals will be 15 mins

  • Final will be 20 mins with two halves

  • 3 points: win 

  • 1 point: 0-0 draw

  • Red card: will not participate in the rest of the tournament

  • Yellow card: dismissed from the current and the following game.

  • There is no offside

  • Games will play to a running clock, which means that the clock will not be stopped when the ball goes out of play or there is a stoppage in the game.

Goalkeeper rules

​

  • Goalkeepers are NOT allowed to come out of the penalty, players are NOT allowed in the area

  • No pass backs (will result in a penalty)

  • A goal clearance must be thrown out using under or side arm, no over arm throws or drop kicks

​

Pitch rules

​

​

  • Home team chooses ends

  • Kicks in will be taken if the ball leaves the sides of the pitch indicated by white lines

  • If the ball strikes the back wall then play will continue

  • Both teams will wear bibs of different colours

  • Roll on and roll off subs (need to inform referee in stoppage of play)

  • Knock out games that result in a draw go straight to penalties (best of three)

  • Penalties are one step

​

Any disrespect and all kinds of abuse towards all officials will not be tolerated and may result in your team being withdrawn from the tournament. 

Managers and team captains are ultimately responsible  for their teams behaviour

​

Health & Safety

​

  • Players are responsible for ensuring they are the appropriate protection and footwear

​

Parking

​

Parking available at the Guttmanns centre, cameras will be disabled for the day

​
